Hosts:

Mr. Lobo and The Queen of Trash will be hosting the 2007 Sacramento Horror Film Festival!

"Mr. Lobo is the best thing going." - Legendary Horror Host Bob Wilkins

Mr. Lobo

Just as Cinema Insomnia features timeless late-night films, host Mr. Lobo possesses a timeless quality that has gotten him to the place he is today - hosting bad movies on late night TV. Shrouded in the obsidian mystique of a formless void, Mr. Lobo will continue to lord over Cinema Insomnia proceedings (from the regal heights of the finest rocking chair that 1971 had to offer) until he is caught doing something undeniably illegal. Outside of Cinema Insomnia, you would assume Mr. Lobo is just another man, but no. He is also head creative director and a founding member of the humor/media collective known as FAL (Filmmaker At Large).

Feared by women and annoyed by children, America's greatest tea-toddling humorist has also penned the infamous radio show The Last Thanksgiving, stage productions (Radio Is Dead and (The Moe Bettermann Show), comic books (Nuke Nova, FAL Brand Funny Pages), trading cards (Sac Blows) and magazines (Planet X and 62) both locally and abroad. Yes, folks - Mr. Lobo is a dork. But did we mention he's an enigmatic dork? - courtesy of Cinema Insomnia ( http://www.cinemainsomnia.com ).

The Queen of Trash

The Queen of Trash is an entertainer of many trades. Pro wrestler, make up artist, writer, model, comic book hero, and actress are among the many talents this Queen of Trash brings to her throne. Please visit http://www.queen-of-trash.com to discover more about this talented performer.

The Phantom Jets

Lookout! cuzz headin' your way in rev-o-phonic sound--it's the Phantom Jets! They're all new, and they're what are happening now in the Capital City. Coming at you with a style of beat music borrowing from the wyldest groups of the 60's, but also incorporating the hi-energy styles of today, the Phantom Jets play songs reverberating with the sounds of minor-key 60's garage pop, fuzzed-out punkers, and just a bit of reverb-drenched spooky surf thrown into the mix. They are a group with a single mission....to get peoples feet moving with rockin' sounds! No need to keep your eyes and ears peeled for the Phantom Jets, you'll hear their brand of Fuzz 'n' Farfisa-fueled rock'n'roll from miles away!

I've had a life-long love affair with things that go bump in the night." says Mars, "A great movie score can stand on it's own, without the relying on flavor-of-the month bands to attract interest. I'm doing my best to return the horror score to it's rightful place as genuinely well crafted and respected music ".
